We only collect personal

You can browse the Site
without registering or providing us with any personal information. Once you register
to use our services, we will require you to personal and financial information

about you in our feedback area. If you
choose to post messages on our associated forums at the Mobile Disco Directory
or other message areas or leave feedback for other users, we will collect that

(eg emails) or if third parties and/or other users send us correspondence about
your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a
file specific to you.
How We Use
Your Information
We use the information we
collect to resolve disputes, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems
and enforce our terms, conditions and policies. We may make comparisons with
other users to identify problems, resolve disputes, and/or identify users using
multiple Usernames or aliases.
We may use the information we
collect to improve the Site and our services and/or to analyze how the Site s
being used
We may use your information
to contact you and deliver information relevant to this Site and your possible
use of it and/or advise you of something that we think may be of interest to
you (including but not limited to advertisements, administrative notices, and
communications relevant to your use of the Site). By registering on the Site
you are accepting the terms and conditions of this Site (including this Privacy
Policy) and are expressly agreeing to receive this information. Further, we may send out notices to you or
other Site members regarding suspicious activity or policy violations on the
Site.
If you use the ‘Send Auction
to a Friend’ service to email to a third party that
is not registered on the Site, we will not use that email addresses for any
purpose other than to send your email. The email addresses will be deleted from
the Site’s records some time after they have been used to send your request.
Disclosing
Information
We DO NOT
sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing
purposes without your explicit consent, but there are instances when your
information may be disclosed to third parties and these are described below.
Your Username is displayed throughout the Site and so
is available to everyone. All of your activities on the Site (such as your
bids, items that you have purchased, items you are offering for sale, your
feedback rating and feedback comments, your postings on the Site, etc) can be identified
by your Username. As a result, if your
real name is associated with your Username, others may be able to personally
identify you and so identify your activities on this Site. When conducting a
transaction, the other party to that transaction may view your email address
and obtain your contact information and postal address to help complete the
transaction.
DJ Bids and The Mobile Disco
Directory are keen to enforce laws and third party rights, such as intellectual
property rights and laws relating to fraud. Therefore we will (and you
authorise us to) disclose personal information such as name, address, telephone
number, email address, Username, history, and bidding and listing history about
you as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in the
event of our receiving a request under Section 29 (3) of the Data Protection
Act 1998 (or any subsequent amendment thereto or future enactment) in respect
of any activity that may expose us or you to legal liability.
We cannot ensure that all of
your communications with us and other personally identifiable information will
never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For
example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or
private communications, or users may abuse or misuse your information that they
collect from the Site. Therefore, although we employ methods to ensure that
this does not happen, we cannot guarantee this.
Your
Password
You are responsible for all
actions taken with your Username and password, including those actions that
result in fees being charged to your account. Therefore do not disclose your password
to any third parties. If you do share your Username and password or your
information with third parties, you will still remain responsible for all
actions taken with your Username and password. If you lose control of your
password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable
information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf.
Therefore, if your password or account has been compromised for any reason, you
should immediately change your password.
Accessing
and Amending Your Personal Information
We can review and change the
information you submit to us by logging into the Site and entering in the new
information yourself. Except under exceptional circumstances, we will not
modify your personal information at your request since it is difficult to
authenticate your account manually. You can change your password, contact
information, financial information, postal address and user preferences by
going to the "Account" section in the Members Area. You must promptly update your personal
information if it changes or is inaccurate.
Once posted, you cannot change
or remove any public postings made on the Site including the feedback area.
Upon your request, we will
deactivate your account. To make this request, please contact the Site’s
Administration team. We reserve the
right to retain your information to enable us as to resolve disputes,
troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions. Further, such information
is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal
constraints, including stored "back up" systems.
Others
Except as otherwise expressly
included in this Privacy Policy, this document only deals with the use and
disclosure of information we collect from you. We have no control over information disclosed to
third parties, whether they are bidders, buyers or sellers on the Site, etc.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to comply
with any current laws applicable at that time and also our own data collection
and disclosure practices. All amended terms shall automatically be effective immediately
they are initially posted on the Site.
